Captain Leila Darkstar is the Captain of the Serendipity. An ostentatious ship that she uses primarily to lure and loot across the Velorum Galaxy.

Daring, reckless, and dangerous, Captain Darkstar is entirely interested in herself, and her own desires. Known for using any tool at her disposal to achieve success, her agendas are frequently at odds with local authorities, mining operations, courier routes, and even her own fellow outlaws. A fact which doesn’t seem to bother her, since she shows little regard for anyone or anything that isn’t useful to her goals.

She does however take great pleasure in tormenting her enemies. Often ambushing and crippling targets before turning around and charging them astronomical rates to be “rescued.” Captain Darkstar’s malice has few alliances and she regularly attacks rival outlaw crews often times for the sole purpose of retaining her terrifying reputation.

Despite her cultivated flippant attitude, Captain Darkstar is highly perceptive, and nearly always aware of her surroundings. So aware in fact, that some believe she exhibits actual precognitive abilities. Rumored to be a result of exposure to cosmic radiation. She is also a gifted tactician that has developed a tricky, evasive combat strategy that frequently leaves opponents baffled.
